Women in the Wind, Black Rose Chapter

Established 20 years, the Black Rose Chapter of Women in the Wind is located in the beautiful Hudson Valley, 90 miles north of New York City, in Dutchess County, near the Connecticut and Massachusetts border.

Around Town...

The area is rich with history with an abundance of historic mansions as the Roosevelt and Vanderbilt, along with world renown colleges as Bard, Vassar, Marist and The Culinary Institute of America.

ORANGE COUNTY CHOPPERS, known as Discovery Channels "American Chopper", is located just across the Hudson River in Orange County, a short ride from Dutchess County.

If you're visiting our area, you don't want to miss BETHEL WOODS CENTER FOR THE ARTS, the original site of the 1969 Woodstock Concert Festival.

The Shawangunk and Catskill Mountains are also just across the Hudson River in Ulster and Greene Counties, to include the towns of New Paltz and Woodstock, just to name a few.

Check out the new WALKWAY OVER THE HUDSON.  The longest pedestrian bridge in the world!
